Tadić: The violent atmosphere is not favorable before the elections

Boris Tadić has warned that it is neither natural nor favorable before the elections to use physical force in a democratic system. The presidential candidate of the DS has said in an interview that there is a stimulated atmosphere throughout Serbia, especially established in the political arena, with the aim of causing the spirit of fear and intimidation before the second round of presidential elections.
"This propaganda is intended to deter citizens from the elections, but I would like to invite and encourage every citizens in Serbia to vote, and we should show ourselves and the world that Serbia can stop the conflicts and the maturing violence just like we could do it in the past," said Tadic.
According to him the Serbian Progressive Party or their presidential candidate, Tomislav Nikolić, could cause unforeseen difficulties during the election process if they manage to convince the citizens to start questioning the legitimacy of the elections, regardless of the outcome.
