The Politika newspaper entered a proclamation signed by more than 260 public figures entitled “Serbia under threat," the declaration was sponsored by the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS). The proclamation states that "after the unilateral declaration of independence, the Serbian authorities became accomplices in the gradual theft of Kosovo-Metohija, bargaining with the EU at the cost of Serbian national and historical values. This is not only stealing Kosovo, but a broad attack on the country's territorial integrity. The EU not only humiliates Serbia through the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY), but also blackmails it by encouraging new separatist tendencies in Vojvodina and Raska. Our national tradition, economic development, frail democracy, the rule of law and last but not least, the moral integrity and self-respect of the nation are in jeopardy. " sais the proclamation.
