Rapporteur for Serbia urges EU accession

On Monday the European Council will present a request at the European Parliament to appoint the date of the EU accession negotiations given the fact that Serbia continues with the internal reforms and improves it’s relations with the neighboring countries. The EP is very satisfied and welcomes the commitment of the new Serbian government. They believe that Belgrade is willing to do everything to begin the EU integration process.
The request, which is actually the annual EP report on Serbia, will be presented to members of the Committee on Foreign Affairs by EP Rapporteur for Serbia Jelko Kacin.
