The budget proposal for 2013 was adopted

On Saturday the Serbian parliament has adopted the budget proposal for 2013. The new budget is intended to envisage the deficit of 3.3 percent of Serbian GDP. At the session 138 MPs voted for the draft, 69 voted against, and three MPs abstained from voting.
Due to the Serbian fiscal consolidation measures, the budget deficit for 2013 should be decreased to 121.9 billion RSD, and the consolidated budget, which includes budgets of provinces, local self-governments and mandatory social insurance organizations, should be at 3.6 percent of GDP which is approximately 132.3 billion RSD.
