Bojan Pajtić opened the renovated building of the Tekelijanum in Budapest today.
The boarding school was Sava Tekelija's foundation, which was built for Serbian schoolboys who studied in Budapest. The institution was founded in 1838. Now it is inhabited by pupils of the Serbian grammar school.
Bojan Pajtić told at the opening ceremony that the Tekelijanum is the greatest and most significant cultural institution of the Serbian people outside the Balkan region. The Government of Vojvodina donated 91 million dinars for the renovation of the building.
