The German company Dunkermotoren opened its new plant in the industrial zone in Mali Bajmok – reports the Dnevnik newspaper in Novi Sad.
Dunkermotoren has been present since five years in Subotica, it employs 140 people and it produces micromotors.
Two million dollars have been invested into the building of the new plant and every product is made for export, mainly to England – said Slobodan Anic, director of the company in Subotica.
Jenő Maglai, mayor of Subotica said, this is an excellent example that Subotica has a good cooperation with investors and it works on creating new jobs.
Uwe Lorenz, general director of the German company also emphasized that they have excellent cooperation with the local government, as it took only one and a half year to implement plans into action and accomplish the whole investment.
„Apart from production plant we have a development center, too, with 12 top engineers, so we export knowledge, as well. We have bought another piece of land beside this plant and we are planning to do further improvement”, said Uwe Lorenz.
