Šoškić: the instability of the Serbian Dinar is only temporal

Dejan Šoškić, chief of the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) said that the instability of the Serbian Dinar is only temporal, and it will end after the new government is formed. "We believe that the instability of the Serbian Dinar is only temporal and when the new government is formed, they will introduce the first necessary reform steps, in concordance with the IMF regulations which will lead to the country's medium-term fiscal consolidation," said the Chief .
Šoškić said that the government formation after the 6th May and any possible delay in the elections would be very dreadful and very expensive to the country
"The country's foreign exchange reserves are not endless and the Serbian National Bank, has to take care of the reserves and must pay the timely payment of installments when they are due," said the governor of the NBS.
