270 thousand visitors attended at the Agricultural Trade Fair

On Friday the representatives of the International Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad said that during the week 270 thousand people visited the fair, and more than 500 tractors and agricultural machines were sold by Friday. According to Dragoljub Švonja, director of the MTZ Finke Agropanonka company, the association of the agricultural machinery importers are very pleased with this year's turnout. Švonja also added that contribution of the Ministry of Agriculture with its incentive measures helped them as well to close the most successful fair so far.
Goran Vasić, Chief of the Novi Sad Fair, said that in the previous years there were more visitors but it is mostly due to the cool, rainy weather conditions.
He said that the surveys show that ever second visitor spent about five hours at the fair, and the guests were most interested in the food and agricultural machinery exhibitions. (Beta)
