MRI in the Hospital of Subotica

The General Hospital of Subotica, one of the oldest medical institution in the country, received an advanced magnetic resonance imaging device. With this there are three MRI devices in Vojvodina. The MRI unit arrived to the Kamenica Institute of Oncology and its’ transportation and adjustments were supervised by the experts of the German Siemens company by. For this reason, for the relocation of the equipment and for the development of the required facilities in Subotica Hospital, the Provincial Health Secretariat has earmarked 2 million Dinars. The Hospital also enlarged with a new tissue processor laboratory, which reduces the analysis time from four day to one.
