According to the Democratic Elections Monitoring Center, CeSID, Tomislav Nikolić received 49.4% of the votes while his opponent Boris Tadic received only 47.7%. The Ipsos samples assumes that Nikolić obtained 48.6% while Tadić received 48.2%.The participation was lower than in the first round. According to the Democratic Elections Monitoring Center only 41.5 percent of citizens voted until 7PM.
