The VMDP and the Party of Hungarian Unity May Join the VMSZ
Against All MM-Members Disciplinary Procedure Will Start

The Alliance of Hungarians in Vojvodina (VMSZ) will go alone to elections, but further talks are expected with the VMDP and the Party of Hungarian Unity, which two will probably support the electional-list of the VMSZ at the provincial and general, parliamentary elections.

Pasztor said he is optimistic about coalition talks and most probably the two minor parties will support the VMSZ both concerning its list and campaign.

About local elections Pasztor said that at the local level, municipal commitees of the VMSZ will decide whether they want to form coalition with other parties. In Becej, Topola or Temerin, for example, there is a chance for such coalitions. However, this basically does not change the VMSZ's original strategy that it will go to elections separately as a Hungarian party, try to get positions in the parliament and from that position build further contacts in order to contribute to political representation of the Hungarian minority.

Pasztor also announced that he initiated a disciplinary procedure against all MM-members within the party, because they cannot be in both organizations at the same time, especially not during parliamentary elections. The leader of the VMSZ said that he decided this after Tamas Korhecz's statement that they will go to elections, too.

Pasztor also said that he thinks , not all members of the Hungarian movement agree with Korhecz that they should go to elections, thus they will be able to announce whether they want to stay in the VMSZ or not, so they will have the chance to choose between the two options.

The same goes for Jeno Maglai, mayor of Subotica, as well, being that he is also a member of the MM. He will also have the choice, but the VMSZ will not dismiss a Hungarian mayor for sure. Maglai has brought himself into an impossible position - said Pasztor.

Aron Csonka did not come to coalition talks on Monday initiated by the VMSZ. Not official sources confirmed, his car broke down. Pasztor said, Csonka did not call him personally and he can understand Csonka's move only in one way.

Tamas Korhecz said on Friday that he can still imagine a cooperation with the VMSZ, and Pasztor reacted to this statement saying that he can also imagine cooperation on a technical or professional level, however he considers this announcement of Korhecz frivolous, since if there was a will for cooperation, the press on the 15th would not even happen.
